At first glance, you might not think much about this 35mm Omega time-only piece. But look closer, and you’ll realise that this is watch has so much going for it.
Firstly, it is powered by the legendary 30T2 movement, an excellent calibre that was relied on by the military due to its robustness and time-keeping qualities. The dial is glossy, black and gilt and is made complete with luminous Arabic numerals and syringe hands that really works together. Overall, it is a handsome piece and at 35mm, it sits amazingly well not the wrist.
Produced towards the end of WWII in 1944, you will see a correlation between this piece and its more famous military issued W.W.W. siblings. This is one of the more understated and underrated vintage Omegas and certainly a great value piece. Under the sun, the gloss dial is stunning.
